Default Rain Water Engine Drainage

Following a heavy rain today,
Came home to see large spot of what looks like water residue underneath the where the engine is on the driveway. Does the rain water also drain underneath the engine on the 993? It does not look like oil, so this is the best conclusion I could come to.
Thanks

Well, you may be the first person to take a 993 out in the rain so let's learn...

The sunroof drains into the top 2 sides of the engine lid... + Any water falling into the grill of the engine would make its way down to under the engine... ??

Yes, the grill in the engine bay I suspect can catch a lot of water in heavy rain and drain through the engine bay to the ground. No biggie.

My car has never been driven in the rain or if the sun was shining too hard so no firsthand knowledge. But I think it may be gravity at work.

If this thread was ever read by a member one of the other forums, like "Tundra Talk' , or some GMC truck forum, we would certainly live up to some sort of reputation.... I can just see them laughing now... "The Porsche guys are concerned because when their car is outside in the rain, there is inevitably some water under it"....
