993 C2S wheel Stud specs?
I noticed "OE" studs are listed on various sites as 45mm AND 50mm. What is the correct original spec for the wheels studs on 993 C2S?
Because of the massive "roll" of the fender lips, I know it will be tough to flush the sidewall with the fender without rolling the lip, but I am trying to calculate the widest I can, taking in account for tire sidewall angle, suspension dynamics with hard cornering and still being able to use factory aluminum closed end lugs. I think I can get away with 7mm front and 10mm rear with OE hollow spoke rims/Michelin PS tires. Yes, the car is VERY low and once I install the camber kit in the front, presume this will push the top of the front wheels out. SO MANY VARIABLES!
So my question is if the factory wheel studs for the 993 C2S are 45mm or 50mm?

So many posts in one day!
As per the other post of yours, C2S have 31mm adapter type spacers on the rear.
All 993 have 45mm studs on the rear, 1994 cars have 45mm on the front, 1995 on cars have 50mm on the front

How sure are you on this? The story I received from the "Porsche Expert" at Pelican is that the standard stud length for '95 and newer depends on the rims the car was equipped with at the factory. 50mm studs were used when spacers in the rear came on cars without Techno Turbo Twist rims. My '98 C2S came from factory with Techno Turbo Twist Hollow Spokes and no spacers (I had no idea Porsche used spacers from factory!) -Sounded logical but pose a new dilemma if closed end lugs are desired. By my figures, 7mm front and 10mm rear will push the rims out as far as possible without rubbing tires..however I have not found anyone who makes 52mm and 55mm studs. I guess the answer is to go with 65mm studs all the way around and just use open ended lugs. (Boo)
