Hats off to those Rothsport engine bays

Before - a standard 3.6 engine bay



After - 1,5 years build and lots of money. And it looks the same! Ha

Not as clean as you guys but so much cooler to look at than the newer 911s...

Another reason to love the 993. The engine is a work or art to look at. Form following function. Indeed, compare it to a new Porsche, incredible.

Yeah, when I pulled the engine for a clutch replacement I cleaned everything up and plated whatever I could. Removed the fan and housing and had them Cerikoted. Pretty happy with how it turned out though with minimum cost.

Yes, although it would be even nicer if you could see the block, cylinders and heads a bit better rather than mostly intake plenum, fan and accessories. Understandable given the tight packaging of a rear engine car but mide and front engine cars tend to have more of the actual engine visible.

Not particularly fancy, but it is practical and simplified for easier maintenance and access (Clewett conversion, remote clutch bleed, RS bits, etc).
