Amused when looking at newer 911 reviews, advertisements, for sale pictures. Lots of photos of everything in and on the outside, but always absent the issue in this post and thread.
Usually no pictures of the engine, perhaps one, as all there is too see is a plastic fan shroud and 1-2 fans. Same with Boxsters and Caymans, as we know.
Contrast with Ferrari, Lambo, McClaren where gorgeous power plants are featured.

Post rebuild, but soon realized the stock intake cannot support a 4.0



ITB v1, With the foam filters



ITBv2 Metal mesh high flow filters and massive increase in cool level.

I'll confirm but I believe it was 10/96 and it is a 97 model year.
