Default Rearmost motor mounts

...leaking oil on one of the motor mounts.

Question 1: I'm thinking of just replacing with stock mounts as mine is a DD and I'd like not to add anything to the NVH factor. Any alternatives to the stock mounts that will maintain the compliance and "isolation" from engine vibration as good as the stock, or should I just stick with the factory ones?

Question 2: Anyone maybe have a good old set laying around the garage that had not seen too many miles you'd like to part with. PM me before I pull the trigger, would ya please

TIA, all!!

Buy the standard Carrera 4 version, they are something like half price compared to the Carrera ones!

The RS motor mounts are less expensive, virtually permanent and, IMHO, don't contribute to appreciable NVH.

One more advantage with the RS mounts are that You clearly feel/hear when the AC compressor is engaged!

But if I can "clearly" hear when the compressor is engaged, then it adds to the cabin noise, right
Nevertheless, I'll price em and compare to OE mounts. I just want to avoid adding any NVH is all. But price delta may sway me.

Hmmm, standard C4 mounts are cheaper than the C2, but drop right in? For sure on this, gents? That sounds like a plan!!

I have a set of 97 C2S OEMs you can have for the cost of shipping. They were swapped out at ~ 70K miles. -Jay

Surely, putting 20+ yr old engine mounts in is senseless. They're likely worn, just get new & only need the job done once.

Guys great jester to offer.... but do yourself a favor and install new ones! This is a 21+ year old part with Rubber that has been susepted to high heat for years and the Rubber is probably shot! Just go with the RS mounts and don’t look back!
