Default Online Porsche Parts Recommendations?

I just picked up a 96 Polar Silver coupe and it will be delivered in the next few weeks.

Can someone recommend a good source for OEM Porsche parts? I'd like to start looking for places with great customer service that deserve my business. Nearest dealer here is on another island.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Aloha,
Kelly Kim

here are a couple i use:
- sunset imports (porsche dealer in portland,or) offers parts at cost +15%
- gprparts.com (good quality OEM parts)
- Zimms (allzim.com) excellent quality - great service

that pretty much sums up the ones i like the most. my second tier is:
- automotion.com
- vertexauto.com

hope that helps.

cheers,
boris

Thanks, Boris, those do help.

I'm looking for small stuff right now... Spare DME relay, hood struts, key bodies and remote FOBs, oil/fuel filters...

I've used either Pelican Parts or Sunset. Pelican generally has better prices. I've found tweeks and automotion on the higher side (i guess someone has to pay for their thick mail catalogs).

Only time I was sortof upset with Pelican was when they promised me to get the stuff by Friday but turned out that the shipment didn't arrive until later in the week because they were waiting for a part and didn't inform me of the wait. Having said that, I will still call them first before anyone else for OEM stuff.
