Default Momo hub adapters

Well, my head officially hurts. All from trying to figure out which Momo steerig wheel hub adopters fit which Porsches. So far I see numbers 030, 231, 7004, 7005, 8002, 8010, 8013. It appears that a correct adopter for a 993 would be the 7004. Can anyone confirm that?
Also, when the airbag wheel is removed, how does one take care of airbag light? Is there a light? If the airbag wheel is put back on, does the light have to be reset? If so, how? This, btw, is an OBD I car (1995 model, 2/94 built).
I've found this: http://www.993faq.com/archives/cat_steering.html But it is definitely for an OBD II car and appears to be way too complicated.
On a related note, how does one remove shifter and shifter boot? Does the whole console need to be taken out? If so, how?
Finally, how do switch covers come off? Specifically the one around flasher/exclamation/door lock switches?
TIA!

I do not have the correct part number off the top of my head but I have it at home. Does it have to be Momo or can it be Sparco or OMP?

I'll look tonight .

Nile13,

to remove the shifter and shifter boot your task will be much easier if you remove the console. There are 2 screw under the junk box in the rear of the console. Just pull the box out and you'll see the screws. There are also a few screws along the body of the console under the e-brake tray and a few up front where the console meets the carpet. To remove the shifter boot push gently but firmly down around the edges, it will come free. To remove the shifter handle/****, pull the leather boot up over the **** and loosen the set screw.

The switch covers, if I remember correctly just pull off. The switches are simply plugs that also pull out.

I believe it's a 7004 adapter. It appears to work with Sparco wheels to. I just got Eric's GT3R wheel and adapter that I plan to put on this weekend, I'll look to see if the adapter has the number stamped on it.

Bob (viperbob) had a post a week or so ago about the airbag light - do a search and you should find it. I plan to simply pull out the bulb as my new wheel is going into a track car and both airbags are coming out.
