Anyone running a wide set up - 9s and 12s?

Looking for fitment possibilities or issues with 9” up front and/or 12” in the back. I have offsets i’m thinking about, but i’m curious if anyone has had trouble or success at those widths on a 993 WB.
thanks!

On a stock C4S, the widest that I have run in the front is 18x9 ET52 and 245/35-18 tires no issues. The widest in the rear that I have run is 11" with an ET of 45 and a 295/30-18 tire with no issues. Are you planning on running 305 tires in the rear with a 12" wheel?

This is my C4S with 8.5 x 18 ET46 front and 11 x 18 ET40 rear. I'm not sure if you can go any wider than that without rubbing or rolling the fender.

now my mechanic says don’t mess with the OEM set up on the C4S due to the AWD system. What size tires F and R are you running?

I'm running Sumitomo HTR Z III. 235/40/18 Front and 295/30/18 Rear. I don't track my car and had them since summer without any issues.

Feel free to "mess away"
just keep tyre OD within 3% front / back.
or
remove the fastener that connects the front drive tube to the transmission. (that's the cheapest / easiest way to convert to RWD, though certainly not the best.

Have fun.

with et40 in the rear, are you running a spacer or is that a direct fit?
thanks.

Direct fit, but I have the big red brake. If you have C2S might go a little bit deeper.
