FWIW, your CD very well could be a better version than that available for free/download. What's the file size and how many pages? I'm guessing there are many versions out there.

??. I don’t think a Genuine Porsche CD manual exists, just the paper versions. Which means that people scan the pages, resulting in differing quality versions of the PDF.
And it’s not just quality settings in the scanning software. Binder pages get shuffled or lost, get scanned crooked, and as always OCR can be either good or useless. Making things worse, Porsche’s page numbering is bizarre and nearly useless, so you never know if you’re missing pages.
