Question rear suspension ride heigh difference

any clues why this is so and how could adjust...

difference in height at the rear of 10mm, fronts are exactly the same.

just had new rear tyres put on with laser alignment but there was no logical reason why this is so

car is UK with lowered eibach springs on monroe shocks, springs are 6 months old, shocks about a year

handling is fine (esp now have new boots and alignment) but get the occasional scuff on the wheelarch on the lower side plus is just plain annoying me when I look at it

Has always been the case both before and after the new springs added so thats not the reason...

cheers

One of three reasons:

- Sagging Eibach spring
- Bad shock
- Different size rubber spacer ring from one side to the other

Which side is lower, the left? Maybe someone went to the trouble of getting the corner balance fairly close, which leaves the R side a bit higher on a UK car when you are not in it. If left and right were identical with you not in the car, the corner balance would almost certainly be out.

Altho if you've lowered it yourself - you should get it corner balanced again!
