I would recommend Avi Coach Craft in West LA. Speak to Avi.

The best in California, possibly in the world, for show car work and also for somewhat less intense is Junior's House of Color in Bell Gardens.

Junior's House of Color is probably the best. If you are a perfectionist and extremely **** that's the place to go. Extremely pricey, but worth every penny.

Steve Taub Porsche, I believe, uses Avi Coach Craft.

mani...Do you drive a black 993 and cruise around the Malibu area?

Tim Deshler in Orange, CA has a great reputation...he also does frane/tub straightening. He has been recommended to me by several POC folks that know the good shops.

I have also heard great things about Avi-Coach...not cheap, but very good work.

Mani,

I use to live in Malibu and did the same commute to LA as you are doing. How's the traffic these days, any mudslides, fires, etc.?

I've seen your car around Malibu, that's a pretty sweet car you've got. I live in Massachusetts now after being offered a job here.

I would use Juniors if an insurance company is paying, otherwise, Avio or Avi would be a good place to take it to. Talk to Magid at Steve Taub Porsche in Santa Monica, he's in the Service Dept and he'll tell you if it's still a good body shop.

Thanks Paul,

I will check those body shops as soon as I get a chance.

Fortunately, Malibu is doing better as far as land slides and fires are going. It is less adventureous now.

take care,
mani
