Default Part 993-631-140-00 NLA ?

993-631-140-00 is the rear reflector (center tail light)
I ordered this part back on Black Friday and I am still being told there is NO ETA for availability by Sunset through the manufacturer.

I bought it there because of their Black Friday sale. Is there an alternative part number or does anyone have any knowledge of this issue?

Everything else that I ordered through them finally came through. I even recieved my ROW rear tail lights, just not the center tail light.

Any advice or input would be appreciated.

Not NLA, just factory backorder, you could use 993 631 130 00, thats the one with the fog light wiring installed

I have experienced similar issues with 993 bumper cover availability. I suspect since this is a low volume part from a 20-year-old car the production runs for it are planned for based on back-orders and the part is only made once a year or once every couple of years to meet demand.
You may have to wait a bit to get your part if inventories are dry.
Andy

I know of one in Elkridge that's not in use at the moment. You'll need to bring tools though.

I emailed them immediately upon seeing this from you. Thanks!

I do not recall the price I paid, I just know it was 20% off of their listed price......

Nam, lemme know when you are around so I can pull the needed parts from that donor.

Thanks guys..... since Sunset has my money I will just have to wait for a response.

...wish they were as quick to get back to me as Sonnen is!

Best,

Paul

Uhg... look at that dirty heap. It's like the owner doesn't even care about it.

Funny... I thought of posting this exact post, lol. Ordered a "140" with a 20% coupon for like $325... quite the deal for new OEM. I thought the "130" was the non-rear fog provisioned one? Not wiring... but actually with the holes for the rear fog sockets and all? I'd be fine with the "130" (at the same discounted price) if all it required was some modification to accept the rear fog sockets?

Nam... If you ever want to dirty that garage up, lemme know. I'm a pro.

The only difference is the wiring looms, the reflector is the same on both, the 130 has the 2 cables & sockets for the rear fogs, the 140 doesnt.
