I bought the Bi-Xenon Projectors with the High Beam Splitter from Retrofit. I also bought Tore's HIDs and Cyclops LED for the high beam
.
Everything went together without issue. Once installed the right (passenger) side works as it should. However, the left (drivers) side has an issue. When the high beams are activated the bi-xenon solenoid activates. However, when you turn the high beams off the bi-xenon solenoid does not reset. If you turn the headlights off and on, the bi-xenon solenoid still does not reset. However, if you turn the Porsche ignition off and then back on the bi-xenon solenoid does reset. I have assembled and dis-assembled the headlight to ensure the wiring is correct and that there is nothing obstructing the unit. I also attached a 9 volt battery to the wires to the solenoid and it sets and re-sets without issue.
I suspect your wiring to the connector is reveresed or the splitter plug is reversed to the Cyclops light.
I did try reversing the wires that lead to the projector and there was no change. I'll try the wires to the Cyclops wires and see if that makes a difference. Thanks.
I hope you use a relay harness for your setup. You may be overloading the stock circuit.
Alternatively check if the solenoid of the shutter gets stuck. Used to be a problem with the old Morimotos.

I bought the wiring harness from Retrofit and had planned on using it. However, Tore's HID set up does have compatible connectors for harness.
When troubleshooting the set up I did check the solenoid several times using a 9 volt battery. It operated as designed each time.
The relay harness isn't for plug compatibility but to ease the load of the stock wiring. It provides a steady voltage and current at all times.
Add heat from the burners and the tolerance of the solenoid pin for the shutter might be too tight, who knows.
I speak from experience. Especially when using 55w ballast.
I did my due diligence and troubleshot every component switching them between the left and right headlight. It appears one of the projectors in bad. Retrofit is sending me a new one and it should be delivered Saturday. I'll post a followup after I get the new one installed.

The replacement projector from Retrofit arrived today and I got it installed without issue. Everything now works as designed.
I now have the Morimoto Retrofit kit, Tore's BergvillFX HIDs and Cyclops LEDs for the high beams. I need to do some homework on the proper adjustment of them then find an excuse for a nighttime road trip.
Chuck, My install went well once I figured out how the hi-beam splitter was hooked up. So now I have what you have minus the Cyclops LED. Figured I'd wait to see if the Morimoto's un-shuttered high beam light will be enough along with the stock halogen high beam bulb. I still need to do alignment also.
