Default Flare Install Questions

interested in adding club sport flares on my NB but i haven’t seen much on the installation process.

does it require cutting the fenders?

diy job?

I am also considering this so have been looking at them in detail. My conclusion is that yes they have to be cut. For the reason that the purpose of them is to push the wheels out- so without cutting them your tire will rub on the fender edge.

Just my own musings in it and happy to be corrected.

Look up "RWB 993" on Youtube and you will see how a professional cuts fenders.

there was a 993 thread a year or more ago with video of cutting the fenders.
lots of info in the 944 forum, some in 964 and 993 turbo forum.
use an outside search engine for variations of 'gt2 fender flares at rennlist.com'
