Anti-Spin
#3
Well, that would be the Automatic Brake Differential, and in someway it is a traction control system.
It prevents a single wheel from spinning.
Also transforming power between front and rearwheels due to their wheel-rpm (I'm not too sure about this one).
As far as I know, all C4 and Turbo models had this as standard and it was optional on C2 models.
However, I dont really have any problemes spinning with my C4...
I was more wondering if there was like a true anti-spin system on the 993. Something that you have on more modern cars.
Btw, does anyone know if the ABD can be turned off and on easily in some way? I suppose this will be hard on a C4 since it probably would screw up the AWD system..

The other system is the viscous coupling which transfers power from the rear wheels to the front. I think the ratio is normally 5% to the front wheels and a max of 40% during rear wheel slippage.
