Question Steering wheel shimmy!

Recently, the steering wheel vibrates when the brakes are LIGHTLY applied. At full braking, there is no notice of this.

Any ideas? Thanks <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Were you using Pagid Orange pads? That's the only time I experienced the shakes. It was due to residue caused by riding the brakes a bit much.

The cure is Hawk Blues. I read on some thread that it would clean off this residue--it worked!

Have you done any spirited driving lately??? Don't answer that, (very hard braking maybe???), if so, I'll suspect a warped rotor, try getting them cut if the brake pads aren't the smoking gun.....
