Hello!
Yesterday I mounted a new gear shift **** in my 1994 Carrera. I found it online at a Porsche dealer for the decent price of $150 so couldn't resist it!

At first I thought the **** plastic infill was of a new disign, the old one is glossy plastic, the new one are textured, but when I looked more closely around the edges of the old one I spotted traces of the original textured finish!

The quality of the new **** is excellent (production date 02.11.2015) but the colour of the leather are more like a really dark grey than black! It's the same with all black Porsche leather interiors nowadays, they are just not as black as they used to be!

The change was straight forward following instructions found here on Rennlist!
