Hi all.

I looked through my option codes on my 993 C4 -95.
Sticker in the service manual tells me:
M6405-63S G6421 - 20

So it's a M64/05 engine, god knows what the rest means....

Anyway, looking at the optioncodes I find # 573 there. After some snooping around at the internet I found two options with this number. Now since I got a M64.05 engine, I'd really like to find out what the Retrofit kit is.

# 573 Air conditioner
# 573 210KW Retrofit kit for 993 M64.05/06

Is it a HP increase kit of some sort?

- M64.05-63S is ROW 200 Kw/268 BHP engine
- G64/21-20 is ROW AWD gearbox with LSD
- M573 is air conditioning
- 993.100.904.00 is 210 Kw/282 BHP retrofit Tequipment kit for M64.05/06 *with* M573 air conditioning

Rest assured that you only have A/C and no engine retrofit kit.

I got a european car, so I think it got 272 bhp - though 4hp is not really any difference.

I'm not sure I follow you on your third point.

"993.100.904.00" , is that a Tequipment option code?
Where do you find that number and how do you know it ain't fitted?

I for sure know I aint got a VarioRam if that's what it is.
