Default Spark plug recommendation?

What's the current thought on best spark plugs to use on a 993? Don't need anything fancy, this is for a street car.

FR6DTC. Work great, last long time.

Are the new Chinese ones as good as the old German ones?

Steve,

What mileage interval do you recommend for plug replacement?

Thanks

Thank you, gentlemen!

Steve, any thought as to why these are better than FR5DTC? They are colder plugs, if I understand correctly? Also, Bosch or something else? FR6DTC seems to have curiously little availability out there for some reason and costs 3x the FR5DTC, or is it just my imagination? Also, Steve, I remember that you used to recommend the 5s. Did the thinking change over the years?

I remember reading Steve commenting on hot or track the 5's otherwise the 6's. Of course right now I cannot find it.

In my experience, the 6's stay cleaner in normal driving conditions: a mix of city & freeway driving. I use the 5's for cars used extensively for DE events and in twin-Turbo models.

I change them every 15K for best performance, but that can vary according to how the car is used.

Thanks again Steve!

So, what brand woud you recommend? Bosch appears to have discontinued these if it's not mu magination? http://www.sparkplug-crossreference....OSCH_PN/FR6DTC shows both Denso and NGK, I'm a big fan of both, but mostly for Japanese cars, There's also some mysterious "Brisk Performance" brand that Amazon and others are pushing that's available, expensive and I've never heard of. Also, stay with regular or try something more... eh... irridiumplatinum/unobtainium? I don't have an ability to really wrench on the car, it's a street-only cab with about 5K annual miles of daily driving. With your chip in it
