Default Rubbermaid box for trunk?

I remember a thread about a plastic rubbermaid box that is a snug fit in the trunk. Anyone know the number? ( I tried the search!)

Thanks

I think I saw it at Target a few weeks ago. If you can't find it there, try usplastic.com.

It's called the Action Packer, but I don't have any info on the model number.

I user the plastic boxes for office files. They have a clear hinged lid and fit perfectly in the trunk. They are great for track day stuff as if it rains you just close the lid and don't have to worry about anything. I get mine at a place called "Hold Everything", but I think I've seen them at Target too.

The Action Packer is rugged and fits amazingly well in the trunk (thanks, Dan in St. Lou), but I kind of wish the lid was hinged.

Oh, well. Nothing's perfect.

You guys are right on - it is the Rubbermaid Action Packer 10 GALLON size. I think the larger sizes won't fit vertically.

I bought mine through www.usplastics.com as I couldn't find the 10 gallon size one at any of my local stores.

Enjoy,

Will the 10 gal 'action packer' fit in cars with the cd changer in the trunk?

I found one at K-Mart, $6.99. Yes, they fit alongside the CD changer. Sturdy enough to sit on too.

Bought one last week at Target - I think the price was $10-15 or so. Lockable and a nice fit with the CD changer.
