OK…. Here are the numbers…….
The 1,000,000 post is based on the following…..
When I imported these Forums over 2.5 years ago, I already had 2,658 posts in the database under test…. While I deleted my test posts, and those from Viken, John B. and a few others, the POSTID didn’t change, as they are the index fields……
At that time - one thread didn’t “import” correctly – as it had 3,478 posts…..
Over the past 3 years – I’ve put 4,234 posts contained in 78 threads into the Abyss…
So – that would be: 10,370 posts accounted for….
However, as well, exactly 1138 posts have been deleted by users themselves……
So…..
The database held POSTID 1,011,508 as the "1,000,000" retained posts (on the opening page)
If you go to your profile – and look at your “posts” – hover the mouse over the links to the message.
You, fb – are closer then you know…..
Oh – the database “refreshed” the POSTID count when I did a re-index about 4:28 PM my time yesterday…
