Sorry to hi-jack but this is the one time I was glad I had them... early morning airport parking. Oops

I know. It looks like I staged it... I literally couldn't have set it up better to make those useless things actually useful for the one time ever.

Bumperette delete plugs arrived today and will be packaged and shipped out by eod Wednesday. I still have sets if anybody needs them now or in the near future. As always, when they are gone, they are gone for an unspecified period of time.
Thanks

To finish them.......................
Just Bondo and sand. Then sand ever finer until smooth and test fit. Be aware the side edges will need to be reduced or removed on at least one or more sides to be able to ever remove the bumperette deletes easily when needed. They are there for people that want to remove the bases and glue they in permanently to fill the holes. When you have them at the size you think is right go a little more to account for paint and primer thickness. After painted, clear coat and let sit for a few days to cure fully and then fit and forget. There are companies that sell small quantities of factory matched paint in aerosols. Polar silver is a pain to match!
......you can search the forums for previous threads on how to finish them also.

so all I have to do is remove my US side markers, install the plugs in place of the bumperettes and install the longer ROW side markers from Gert ?
do I have to get a ROW front bumper ?
I haven't removed the bumperette but it looks from loose measuring as if there will be a gap between my US Fogs and ROW (Gert) side markers, am I nuts ?
This pic from Gert shows where the plugs I'm refinishing and painting go, but does everyone have the same gap between the fogs and ROW side markers shown in his pic ?

this for me is meant to be a stopgap until I can afford to have the front bumper pulled, refinished, plugs sanded down more and the holes filled (with or without the plugs in place, at that point I wont care) and repainted
before and after pics attached
I didn't go all **** about polishing the rubbed areas from under the bumperettes since this is a temporary arrangement until the full bumper is done, I did some minor claying and hand polishing around the holes, didn't even get out the orbital, it wasn't worth the trouble, as this is temporary

if anyone knows someone who wants my US size clear sidemarkers with amber bulbs give me a shout, every time I see a 993 with amber lenses I cringe, I'll be putting the US clear ones up in the marketplace here
