Default Phil's new shoes!

I won't have any pics until Friday(my digital camera is not working).......but.......I picked them, or rather they were delevered via the United States Postal Service.......??? I recieved a call this afternoon from the Post Master of Santa Ynez.......he was not very happy!! I guess the postal service is just not equipped for wheels/tires too show up in Post office box's???

anyhoo........fronts 265/35/18.......rears(and I am still amazed that they fit!, well the fronts fit too???.....but.....back to the rears......315/30/18!!!!

I personally think they are too small for the car, but the previous owner (some "993 parts pimp from TX) says They will work. Its my understanding he had them on some type of "frankenstien c4s with a monster TT motor"

Hopefully by Friday......I will have some pics.

I have seen those wheels in person on the "Frankmonstermobile" (aka:C4SRSCSTT) and they look awsome, and rather imposing.

Phil, all you need to do now is to RSCSTT your car and it will be complete

Default Man did You get taken....

I cant believe that someone would convince You that those would fit....lol...I bet they said You could put those on without rolling the fenders...No way...lol...Actually next thing You know someone will say You can fit 265 fronts and 295 rears on a narrow body with no fender rolling...boy that would be hilarious...

Glad they got there Phil, I want a pic, I bet your car looks wicked!

BTW I am done on 993 parts now with a few exceptions but I do have a bunch of 996 Supercup spares....

Very nice.

Glen- So what would those few 993 parts be? I would think all the cool stuff has been snatched up already.

Also where did your TT beauty end up?

Oh - they are wheels and tires??? And all along - I thought you were going to post as Kedso: "Why do you kids wear Keds?"

"So I can run faster and jump higher; so I can win more often."

(BTW: you gotta be REALLY OLD to get this joke..... )

Beautiful wheels. So having lifted the mags can you guesstimate how much lighter they are then, say, twists? Are the scaled weights still on the packages?

Kev,
I did not check. but I'd say 5lbs lighter per wheel, just from lifting both sets

Phil:

Nice work! I am going to see them on Feb 1st? I'll do you a favor and check the GCR's for your classification...
