Question 993 or 964

Is a 1994 Porsche Carrera 2 designated a 993 or a 964.

It would be a 964 for the North American market, a 993 for ROW, I believe..

If it says "Carrera 2" on the decklid, then that's a giveaway that it's a 964. The 2wd 993's just say "Carrera"...

a) Serial no: 7 & 8th no. is 96 on 964, 99 on 993
b) Was no 1994 993 for US (I think La-La-Land is in the US?)
c) 993 has much swoopier/streamlined body
d) 993 has 6-speed tranny; 964 5 speed
