Can you please point me to the best 993 resource that describes in great detail by year what features each model year had (what changes) and what options were available, with descriptions?

I want to know when I check out a car what it has and what it doesn't have, more important what of the available options are important to me.

I have used Search but option-related posts typically explain how to tell what options a particular 993 does have, not what it could have had.

Get the Porsche 911 Redbook 1965-99. Great book that has most of this info. http://www.tweaks.com has it listed for $12.99.

The option codes a 993 has are listed on a sticker inside the trunk lid. There are a lot of option decoders you can search for in this forum. One is at http://p-car.com/technical/option.html
