996 Becker Radio in 993
I swapped my becker unit in my 993 for the model that came with the 996 so I could get ***** to control volume and tuning while retaining a factory look. Only problem is, the display is not clearly visible due to the different seating position in the 993 v. 996. Anyway, if any of you have done the same you should know that for $57.00, Becker will "fix" your faceplate so the display is clear in your 993. I just did this and it works. If interested, you can contact Ronn Goodman, Becker of North America, 16 Park Way, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458

The viewing angle has to be adjust for use in the 993. I take it you are talking about the CDR-220 not 210.
I simple solution for those wanting to upgrade, is to just get the Traffic Pro.
It has a Dot matrix and is viewable at all angles.

Here you go Jeff . . . (sorry about the size, I've never done this and I don't have the software to edit the picture -- I borrowed a friends digital camera to take the shot).
