They’re made right here in the USA. And they’re incredibly sturdy and easy and fast to work with. Best of all, you only need to jack up two corners to position all four of the jack stands. Quick and safe!
If you ride at RS ride height or lower, it helps to jack the wheel up a few inches and slide a book underneath for better clearance Simply place jack stand top on the floor jack and lift car high enough to position left front and left rear jackstands. Lower car down onto the stands Repeat on the right side (no need for the law book this time), and you’re done. How easy was that?
Jack up the left side from the rear again and remove both jack stands on the left If your RS height leave the book so you can slide the jack stand top out. Then jack the left rear wheel up a few inches to remove the book and you’re done!
I've got a set of 4 of these, they're the only jack stands I've ever used where i feel completely safe.
You really only need to buy a pair honestly, as you pointed out lifting at the rear of the car you can slide a regular flat top jack stand under the front. Great product, I have no regrets buying these.
What's the correct version to order for a 993 c2s?
Hi Paolo1, The recommended application for most aircooled Porsche’s is the Standard set with low profile pads. That’s what you see in the photos above.
But if you like to work with jackpads, see my next post.
No kidding, I purchased an extra set of their Recessed jackpads so I could use lift pads. They work brilliantly, and they are stackable allowing you to put two or three pads together.
I was working under my 964 stripping paint and removing the fuel pump, and there was plenty of room working with two pads stacked together.
Optional recessed pad Lifting here with two pads stacked for extra height Ample working room here, with two stacked pads. Each pad adds an extra inch and a half of space.

I’m in complete agreement about how safe it feels under these stands. You can save a few dollars and slide flat top jack stands up front, but the JackPoint Jackstands are so sturdy and safe it’s worth buying two pair. When you’re under the car, you’ll be glad that you did.
