Also - hit up a cars and coffees with two buddies the other weekend - was pretty cool because 3 cars were almost exactly 17 years apart

Timmy,
Congratulations on your new 993 S. Looks spectacular. On your suspension refresh, did you choose m033 ROW springs and Koni Fsd shocks.?. Any other suspension work? Stance is perfect . Looks like Row height. How’s the ride?

@waizone Thanks! Just swapped out stock gear that was still in place with M033 springs and Koni Active Sports (new name for FSD I think)

i havent driven a ton of 993s so probably not the most informed opinion - but I am extremely satisfied with this setup - I am certain not optimal for track but for anything up to very spirited public road driving I would highly recommend

Good luck with her brother. We are glacier twins. Are those big reds or painted C2 calipers?

Beautiful car, congrats!! White and silver are classic on a Porsche. If you haven’t yet updated your lights, check out these HID/LED Headlights and these HID/LED turn signals, brake and reverse lights

Happy trails!

@flyingchappy Good question and sorry for slow response, I bought it under the assumption they were painted calipers but now I am not so certain, at least in the back. From what I gathered the best way to tell is the rotors so I took some shots - see below - the fronts appear to be regular but I also had those changed when I bought the car - not sure if normal rotors would fit Big Reds (total noob here) In the back it looks to have the non-directional pattern that may be indicative of big reds .... someone can please help me here, happy to provide more pics if needed

The last owner did the HID headlight upgrade already so that's taken care of , the rest I'll probably look at doing some point in the future, my general inclination is that if it isn't broken don't mess with it.

Rear Rotor

Front Rotor (recently replaced after purchase)

This is a big red on mine for reference. Yours are standard C2 painted

Thanks for the picture! I figured it was just the regular calipers painted but worth checking...

Anyhow, I don't track the car and, to date at least, haven't felt the need for any additional stopping power. Frankly probably better off with the lower weight of the standards given my driving profile.
