Post 96 ttt with silver calipers, is this stock? Shouldn't they be red?

Stopped by the dealer this weekend and saw a 96 tt for sale, with silver calipers, is this stock (the car is silver also)? I thought all the 993 twin turbos came with the red calipers.

thanks in advance.

Jon,
The prev. owner may have had them painted to match the car. On my car the PO had the calipers painted black.

I believe yellow and silver calipers were an option for several years.

You might check the option codes on the bonnet or in the owners manual

Jon - as you know if you want to pay you can get Porsche to do just about anyhting to your car. My Twin Turbo has polar silver calipers, painted at the factory to match the car.

Jon - I can see that when you have an itch, you get it scratched right away! Drive it out sometime, I'd love to see it!
