There are basically 3 optional mounts that will fit: the RS, RSR and 993 Supercup mount. Each is stiffer then the next.

I made a puller tool to do the job which worked well the first time I used it and was almost destroyed the second time it was used by a friend to pull out and pull in his new mount. It takes quite a bit of force to pull out the old mount and pull in the new one.

Doesn't sound like a DIY to me...

Thanks for the info.

The period of "nothing" when the engine is rotating on the mounts is brought to a sudden end when the mounts have gone as far as they are going to, creating a jolt. Like having a lot of backlash between a pair of gears.

I thought Uh Ohh. She was referring to a few 'items' I bought from Gert and OG Racing (Sabelt) that she didn't know about.

I quickly changed the subject.

Hey Chris, we need to form a Rennlist Chapter of the UUC(Underground Upgrade Club). That way we can share tips on buying those "necessary" upgrades from Gert and minimizing the after-effects.

Tip # 1: Ship the stuff to your work, not to home.

Others will undoubtedly have ideas to contribute.
