Just have to chime in here re Adventurine
Green. As mentioned in another thread, I looked at a '95 coupe in this color for a fellow rennlister last week. I could not believe how nice this color looked on a nicely detailed 993. Probably one of the most extreme examples I have encountered of a color looking better in person than in pics.

The great thing about Adventurine Green is that it's the second fastest color...after Forest Green

Color aside eBay has not steered me wrong. I've purchased many items - my new C4S included and have never had a problem.

The key is due diligence outside the auction. As an uptight, **** corporate attorney (when I'm not "wasting" time thinking about cars) due diligence is the key to ANY transaction. I saw my car on eBay and then negotiated over the phone for several days including calls to the prior owner and web searches on the principals at the dealership I bought from.

Everything turned up squeaky clean and the car was in fact BETTER than advertised. I just view the actual auction as cheap advertising. You still need to do your homework.

The TT above was really tempting... had I not just bought A car I would have been all over the research like Tyson on cartilage. The hunt is half the fun for me - the other half is opening my garage door 15-20 times a day to stare at the curves on the rear fender while touching myself... did I just say that? It's a late Saturday night here in NY and everyone else is asleep - my apologies in advance

Is this the same 993 Turbo that the dealer in San Antonio had on eBay and sold, than relisted, 4 or 5 times? I don't recall the mileage on the one from San Antonio.
