Jeff, I have a 993 c2 and was looking on the MAShaw website a while ago for the RS aero kit.

There is little detail on the kit so I am glad to hear that you thought they are of good quality.

I am looking for the same splitters as you and an RS tail to be shipped to Australia and it is hard to choose something sight unseen, especially when returning the goods is impossible.

Can you please explain what you mean about better fitment, your critical evaluation would be greatly appreciated.

Alan,

I'll try to take some pics and post them at my next opportunity... suffice it to say that if you're not lying on the ground you don't notice it. As a matter of fact I'm getting happier with the looks by the day and almost regret writing that comment.

I'm waiting for the sun to begin shining here in Ohio to see what it looks like in the bright sunlight. I'll take pics then...

Thanks for that Jeff,

I am pretty fussy with all my DIY stuff and have had some good success, even with major work. But there is nothing worse than buying something like a wing or a spoiler and finding it is poor quality and will not fit properly or something.

BTW your pics are great and the colour is absolutely the best colour in the range, followed by Midnight Blue (mine).

I look forward to those pics.

No problems with my splitters but I bought OEM. They look great on your car I am amazed at how well the DIY paint looks. Good Job

GTR993... that looks sweet. Now I need a tail to compliment the splitter. I'll take some time deciding on that.

The thing I like about the lighter color cars are that the splitters show up so well... on darker colors they blend in a bit more. I'm hoping that once the sun starts shining in OH and I get the car out of the garage the bright sunlight helps bring the look out more. We'll see...

My RS splitters and tail came from MA Shaw. Mike at MA Shaw was professional to deal with and the parts were shipped promptly. I didn't do the fitment but my body shop that does do a great deal of Porsche work recommended the MA Shaw pieces if you weren't going factory. When asked, they had no complaints about the fitment and finish.

Jeff, got to do the tail too!! (Not the best pics of the tail, but maybe enough to speed up your decent on the slope . . . )

Regards,

Hey Jeff,

Thanks! I looked through a number of pictures and just couldn't find one that does the tail the justice it deserves. In person, it really is a great looking wing and very well designed for the car. I have an Aerokit 1b wing that I purchased before the RS wing, but after I saw the RS wing on a few cars I felt it was the only way to go.

Kind regards,
