I had XPEL PPF on my 18 Wrangler. That stuff is magic, but it was also $2,400 to wrap the hood, grill, fenders, windshield surround. I’m almost certain I could repaint for that cost or less, however, the XPEL allows the car to look factory fresh for many years rather then slowly being consumed by stone chips and swirl marks.
My kid decided to spray himself with OFF! insect repellent inside the garage. Did you know DEET eats through paint? The overspray melted a grainy pattern into some clear plastic I had out there. Overspray all over the Jeep. I thought the Jeep would need a respray, but the XPEL “self healed” after a week in the sun and was good as new. Paid for itself that day.

I have Xpel and Ceramic and it certainly does not dull the paint. It is so incredibly glossy and easy to take care of. This is my third car with Xpel and Ceramic and I will continue to have both applied to any future cars.
