Default I drove this today . . . . not a replica. Caution, pic heavy

I'm a member at a local track and another member brought this out today (He wishes to remain anon but was ok with me sharing here). It is the real deal, weighs in at 2,200lbs and is 408hp on the dyno. What a hoot!

It has a few interesting features which some may recognize but others won't, so I'll share. There is a three position button on the dash for engine mapping, (below the fan speed ****), race, yellow, and transport. The lever behind the gearshift operates a stiffness bias for the front sway bar, as the fuel is used the front becomes lighter so adjustments can be made but only on the straight away (not while under load). The airfoam sock has a wire mesh under it which was used when racing but here we didn't need full race mode.
Sorry for the large pics - maybe the mods might resize?

Amazing.

Think how much downforce you could get if you put a bigger wing on the back.

maybe a third wing?

2200 lbs! That’s amazing.

Think he’d trade a high mileage targa for it?

Thanks for sharing! Any close up photos of where the rear fender meets the C-piller, interested in how they made that joint for the removable rear qtrs.

Massive door side impact protection into door well on roll cage.

2200lbs w/ 408HP, wow!

W/o divulging owner, any hints on the history of the car? (Beyond the livery hints)

More driving details!
How did you manage to get behind the wheel?
Is that a Clewett pulley setup or factory?

In the fourth picture, I can see a panel joint the extends rearward from the tail end of the rear quarter window. The workmanship here is awesome!!!
The big power and low weight is a great combination... Gotta Love It

Thanks for sharing!!!!

Here are a few more photos which may answer some questions.
BTW, there was a slight mechanical issue which will be addressed shortly, and my driving experience will resume afterward, in a week or two. But, the experience was similar to my 996 cup but in a 993 body, and of course I'm not thrashing it as it is not mine.
It is stunningly beautiful.
There were two sequential vin cars built for the series, this is the survivor.
This car will be on display at "Porsche on the Mountain" Palmer, MA on October 7th.
