Default Replacing the evaporator, what’s this extra rubber part?

I am in the process of replacing the evaporator in my 993. Took out the airbox, swapped the new evaporate in. I am at the part before putting in the fuel tank but I found this part. Any idea what it is? Couldn’t find it in the PET guide.

Looks like a body plug where a line passes through a panel for example where the high-pressure line from the compressor passed through the wall of the evaporator chamber (duct work) while sealing the chamber from an air leak.

Hole looks too small for the a/c pipe and it appears to have been slit to cover a cable, Don't recall finding that when I did my evap but I did fing a few pennies and a screwdriver down there. As said it's a body plug probably nothing to do with the a/c.
