You re-building a CJ? I just finished a frame-off restoration of a 1986....fiberglass body, new motor and tranny, MPI kit, the works.
Very nice - let me know how it turns out for you.

Mmmm... color changing paint! lol
DC: Yep... I paid $400 for it! The body is in fair shape, with fiberglass in the footwells. It came with a 401 AMC V8 that I need to get on a stand and partially rebuild (330 hp 430 lb/ft on the old ratings) and not much else. I'm going to build my own cage, front tube fenders, drop in a T18 tranny, repaint it with spray can (hammered silver, black, and anthracite), SOA on a D60 and 14 bolt, new seats, dash, gauges, radiator, fuel cell, and 38's. Hopefully I can finish it before the summer so I can take it offroad. It will also be good for when I go to areas that I don't feel safe taking the Porsche. I can't wait... what are the specs of yours?
EDIT: Sorry for the hijack! Yeah I have seen that CJ from Jeepin CJ7... I'm actually going for a similar look but with cheaper parts to keep the total cost to around $4500-$5000. And less bling
