Post Tire air pressure gauge

I've searched, but have not found a consensus opinion on what tire gauge is best for street/DE usage. I understand that Longacre sells different models and they are supposed to be good. I'm looking for reasonable accuracy and good durability without spending an obscene amount of money. Any thoughts?

Consumer reports did a review of tire gauges a while ago. I can try to dig up that article...

Personally, I have one that I got from Pep Boys for about $20. It's an analog dial type, has a hose, and a pressure release feature. Has worked great for me so far.

Simple: Snap-On Truck! $20 or so, easy-to-read, bleed-off feature, and it's a SnapOn --which (hopefully) means that it's durable and accurate.

Don,
I have an Accugauge which is in the $15 to $20 dollar range, I don't think you can get a much better deal. I also bought another brand, can't recall but I will post it if you want me to. It was closer to $30, it seems a little more heavy duty. The new gauge proved my old Accugauge was dead on even after many years of use.

Have an analog gauge reading to 60 psi in 1 lb increments, with a hose and bleeder valve. One in each car for umpteen years; work great.

I have a digital Accutire (not sure if it's the same as Accuguage), one analog and one on the pump. All three confirm same reading everytime. The Accutire is a bit hard to get a solid feel the first time until I get the perfect angle. They should have made the opening a litte deeper, I think. The air release doesn't work that great either, but I rarely have to release more than 3 psi. For $16, and since the reading that is important, it's still a good deal.

The best of the gauges I've had (all are durable, accurate, easy to use & read & w/pressure release button):

A Porsche Gauge for garage/track. Inexpensive, nice looking, rubber guard & w/hose & straight chuck:

Accu-gage (G.H. Meiser & Co.) in my glove box - straight chuck & rubber guard:

Decades old VDO gauge in the glove box of my other car - vinyl case, very compact & solid black metal case:

The worst:
A bunch of inaccurate pencil gauges & a digital Accutire rec'd as a gift - an inconsistent, hard to use, annoying beeping POS (IMHO):

I bought a Intercomp bleeding gauge. The bleeder, somewhat bulky, works well but the dial is crap. The needle sticks and you have to tap it a few times to get a good reading. Not recommended.
