Rather than buying or cutting stick on numbers, try a glass marker. It works great.

I guess different PCA regions, and different clubs, have different rules about car number reqirements, but the PeachState region specifically prohibits placing the numbers on the windows. Not a strictly enforced rule, but there you have it.
CAR NUMBERS
All cars are required to display numbers on both sides of the car in a color contrasting with the
car color. These numbers must be easily readable from the tower. (No checkerboard numbers
please.) The numbers must be at least 8 inches high and 1 inch wide. The numbers must be
on the car at tech inspection. Without numbers, you will not be allowed on the track! If your
numbers blow off, you must replace them. Numbers on the side windows or windshield are not
acceptable.
Last time I went out with the Alabama region they added a requirement to place a number in the rear window, they didn't specify a size. I went with the cheapest option of printing it out with my computer:
