Oleg has clinched it. This is the kind of information you just can't buy - and here, don't have to.
This thread alone is going to make me sign up as a Rennlist member, even though my 993 is still virtual.

Gents,

I've had PSS-9's for year and a half set at "6" both front and rear and both the wifey and I are very pleased. A major upgrade from stock that has greatly increased our pleasure of owning a 993.

One option not mentioned that has interested me was the MO33 springs which I think are the ROW springs. This brings the car down to ROW ride hight without sacrificing comfort. With no track days in my future but daily commute on So Cal canyons, this may be the right set up for me with HDs and MO30 sways.

I got afflicted with the 993 fever after Pin let me drive his C4S with PSS9s. Afterwards I almost thought that I should buy a PSS9 with just a car attached.

I had my RUF and was happy with the ride. Now having fallen under Viperbob's spell and had the PSS9 installed, I must say that the ride and cornering sensation is spell-binding. I swear by the PSS9.

Now next week I will have Ground Control coil overs and adjustable camber plates installed on my M5 (PSS9 is not available for the 5 series). It will be interesting to compare the Ground Control set up with the PSS9s.

An offer on my RoW M033 springs would be very welcome (puppies to feed!). I'd have to say running PZero 18" at recommended (or near) pressures on the standard M033 w/Monroes @ 22K miles gave 'not' comfort ride - running PSS9 @ 4 on monoballs with S02 18" at 34/36 cold gives a better (and much more controlled) ride over all road surfaces.....

Actually RoW M033 gives same ride height as M030/TT, ie lower than RoW standard, not RS tho'....

Cheers, Maurice

I don't think that your MO33 C2S springs are spec for my C2 Cab. A guru out there may know for sure. Any help is much appreciated.

Good news for all of you that have been waiting for PSS9s... The container from Bilstein is supposed to hit our country toward the end of next week, so by the following week I should have LOTS of PSS9s back in stock and available for immediate shipment...

Those may all be spoken for - I ordered some from the AJUSA at the Reenlist sale price some have already mentioned and my order update as of today gives a shipping date of March 1st. I'm always up for parts earlier but I can live with a spring project (yeah, puns are the lowest form of humor)

Solsrch,

My price is slightly below AJ, and I should have 15 sets in a couple of weeks.

fbfisher,
I believe the difference between NB and WB springs is only in the rear - slightly stiffer to compensate for the weight. I just installed TechArt springs from a TT/WB on my Cab and it's not too stiff for me. I asked a few "Guru's" from this board before installing them and was given this information. I coupled them with HD's.

Edward
Can anyone verify if this is true or not with respect to the H&R coil overs?

H&R Coilovers are stiffer than M030. The H&R Sport Springs are reputed to be softer than M030.

Default Spring Rates

I have done some research on spring rates for the 993. It is an Excel file. If you want me to send the file to whomever, shoot me an email: schacht993@adelphia.net
