Hi Waz.....

Here is what the Mobil 1 website says: Mobil 1 with SuperSyn TM is fully compatible with mineral-based or conventional motor oils. Any mixing of Mobil 1 products with conventional oils, however, will only dilute Mobil 1's many advantages. Mobil 1 with SuperSyn TM is also compatible with all other synthetic motor oils, but mixing synthetics is discouraged.

However - I sometimes never believe everything I read on the Internet - unless, it's on Rennlist (usually. Well, "sometimes"... Well - okay - definately not the Off topic Forum.. In that case - I can't believe what I read, but for different reasons )

Anyway - my $0.000001 is yes, you could as a "stop-gap" till the next full change, but I sort of like sticking with one brand......

I agree with John, To really get the full benefits of the oil, it's best to stay with one brand (M1). If you are in a bind, it certainly won't hurt using a different oil.
