I'd be curious to hear from others that have been to the other Luft events how they feel this one compared. It has definitely gotten bigger and it it still great event, but I feel it has lost something. But that is just me.

Despite living only a few miles from Ganahl Lumber, I don’t think I’ll be at Luft this year (dragged my feet getting a ticket).
So... I’m wondering how many 993 RLers will be in town for it this weekend. Maybe we should plan an impromptu gathering on Saturday? Or even a post-game gathering on Sunday? What say all of you???

I will be there with my family and a buddy who has a 997. Maybe one of these days we'll actually meet! Take care.

That was a "cool" show and ingenious venue..... I am aircooled out!

i liked the effort the organizers put into;
- the GA parking
- the shuttles
- the cars interspersed throughout the venue
wasn't a fan of waiting 20 minutes for a bottle of water.
it was fun, but next year I'll be driving @ Fontana if the events coincide.
i did enjoy chatting with Hurley H for 4 - 5 minutes as he was signing books.

Seriously, while I appreciated the relatively un-crowded feel of the primary venue, the waits for water, restrooms (particularly women's; I was there with my nine YO daughter [who had a blast taking photos of all the cars with "eyeballs"]), and show goodies, might have been reduced without too much additional effort. Also, strangely, they ran out of Luft hats not long after noon. I say strangely because (1) they probably have obscene margins and (2) they weren't year or event labeled (i.e. 2018 or Luft 5), increasing stale inventory risk.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, it was a great event and I'm glad I went.

I was very impressed by the organization of the event. Huge crowd but everybody got along. Despite the lines for food and tshotshkies, people were courteous. The venue was fantastic. Yes, it was cars and coffee on steroids, but I’ll go again.
