Which battery would be best for a replacement on a Porsche 993 spec wise?

I just replaced a 6 yr old DieHard with an Odyssey 48-720. It’s an AGM so it won’t leak and will last longer life than conventional lead acid batteries. Perfect fit. I’m very happy. A little pricey ($240 from BatteryMart) but my car is worth it!

I just got one today too. The starter really cranks fast now! BTW, it is number 29, not group 29.

I was wanting to replace my Interstate MTP 91 battery (7 years old) and the new MTP 91 doesn’t have the same centrally mounted vent that I have now. In fact, it’s not clear that it has a vent at all. It has a small hole at the top of each side of the end but I’m not sure it’s really a vent. Can anyone confirm if the current MTP 91 has a vent?

yes thats the vents on the top sides. It comes with a plug in one side and you put the plug in witch other side is closes for vent hose. I sell interstate
