Default Track wheels (Boxster offsets)

I'm on the hunt for some track wheels and I've come across a good deal locally on a set of Boxster spec twists (I know, I know, don't put Boxster wheels on a 911), specs are:

993.362.138.01 18" x 9" ET52
993.362.134.06 18" x 7.5" ET50

According to some online calculators (well this one specifically: https://www.willtheyfit.com) running the same tire size 225/40 and 265/35 that are on my technology hollow spokes will result in:

Rear has about 26 mm more clearance on the inner wheel, outside is about the same.
Front has about 8 mm more clearance on the inner, outside will be pulled in by about 4 mm.

So my question is simple, does this information seem correct? Will this amount of difference be enough to cause rubbing issues (I'm sitting right at ROW M030 sport ride height)?

Thanks for helping me through this...
David

Stats look like what I would have thought for that kind of change in numbers. Although I'm no authority I can't imagine how anything could rub given that everything is moving away from any internals and the outer wheel wells.

The calculator did an ok job, but I suspect you may not have entered the correct #s for the oe wheels
compared to oe 8ET 52 your 7.5ET50
front space which is what you see from the side is inset 4.35mm more, back spce is also less so more clearance there. These might look odd w/o a spacer

compared to an oe 10ET65 your 9ET52
front space is ,3mm more, this is negligible backspace is also less giving more clearance. These will look like a stock fitment

My concern is you really want at least 8 in front and 10 in back, anything less is just throwing away potential performance as the wheels are at the low end of spec

Hi Bill, thanks for replying, I appreciate your time. What do you mean by throwing away potential performance? Wheel weight? Width of the wheels limiting tire size?

While weight and tire OD can be important in some cases, not so much here.

For track us you really want the widest wheels that can be fitted and the narrowest tires that fit on those wheels

for a n/b 993 here's what would be very desirable to have for track or even street use
front 8.5 ET~54 w/ 225/40, 235/40 or 245/35 x18 tires
rear 10ET65 w/ 265/35 or 285/30 x18 tires
tire selection to balance f/r grip to suit your taste

Thanks Bill for your input... I might hold off until I find some suitably sized wheels.
