Post Casmere Interior

After two trips to the Porsche Dealer, I have discovered that Porsche does not make a floor mats in Casmere. So now that I am forced to go aftermarket for my mats does anyone has any recomendations on who I should contact?

Thanks

Try this place (I am not affiliated with them). Seen their ads, seems like decent product.

Lloyds manufactured the original mats for Porsche 993s. The quality is much better than the mats Porsche now sells.

I recently bought a replacement set from Lloyds and they were a perfect match for my Cashmere interior.

The people at Lloyds will answer your questions over the phone, but they don't sell diretly to the public, so you'll have to order them through a local shop.

I'm sorry I don't have the phone number for Lloyds, but it can be found using any search engine.

I hope this helps.

Porsche sells what they call "light beige" mats for the 993. Dave is right that the new mats are not Lloyds..and are cheap and cheesy and don't last at all...here's what these crappy new one's look like in a cashmere car

Strasse

sells Lloyds mats. I am thinking of ordering a set for my car. They cannot print PORSCHE or Carrera, though due to trademark/ licensing issues. So I guess I'll go with no embroidery ?? Dave--What do your's have on them, if anything? Have a pic to share?

(You can have C2S or 993 embroidered, for example...numeric designations cannot be trademarked as I understand it--i.e. Intel's "486")

I concur with the recommendations on the Lloyds mats: more plush and higher quality. Not sure where to get them, though others, I'm certain, can help with that

Do you guys know the codes for Cashmere vs. Savannah beige? They were both available in '97. The code under my trunk lid says L3AU LG.

Chris,

I might have gone a little over-board. I bought a full set in cashmere plus a set of fronts-only in black. The cahsmere mats have 'Cabriolet' embroidered in black yarn.

I use the black mats for everyday use, and save the cashmere mats for 'show'.

The black on cashmere embroidery looks great, but I also like the look of the black mats. I'll try to get some pictures.

Lloyd's website is here Lloyds Mats and has a dealer locator.

Dave: I would love to see pics of your mats (both colors) in your cashmere car. I am going to do the same, as I want black to match my new seats and shifter, but cashmere from time to time. Thanks!

Hi Chris,

I just added a set of black mats with the Porshe logo to my 993 with a cashmere interior. Here's a picture:

I like the look, and it's getting better as I add more black and aluminum bits. For more pics, please visit my site:
