I bought the remote for the purpoes of upgrading the condition of plastic housing, not the guts????????Those are easy to swap dude........It was not my intention to program anything............except my TV after I cleaned the screen with the paper towels I just won on Ebay!!!!!!!!!!!and I got 2 count em 2 rolls! Yipeeeeeeeee

You can order a brand new housing from DepartStop. part # 993-618-959-12 (should be <$30). Compare to a new unit from the stealership for $130. You still saving $


I have to say I have been really happy with eBay, some advices:
- Always think of the product in the worst case scenario and bid accordingly.
- Always contact the seller before bidding. For example I asked the seller 1) was it in known working order 2) if not, does the LED light up
- How fast the seller in answering email, is also a good indication of future post auction communication .

Part # 993-618-959-12 is the plastic housing only, not the circuit board, & is priced at about $20 from a Porsche dealer.
