Hey there. Recently I sold Fabspeed tips then purchased a set of Cargraphic exhaust tips for RSRs. Both left me very unhappy with my results. Probably not a result of the manufacturer as more to the application.

Both experiments I've found they protrude past the bumper and looking from a profile view of the car expose part of the muffler.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Are those aftermarket tips (Fabspeed, Dansk, Cargraphics) matched to their respective muffler with a (probable) shorter exhaust exit?

Should I quit my whining and get Gert's ovals? Just curious. Hope everyone had Happy Holidays. Be safe for New Years!!!

 

The portion of the muffler that the tip attaches to could easily be shortened and rewelded to get the desired look if thats all that is bugging you.

 

I was very happy with Dansk tips from Bertsgear (UK) for less than 1/2 of the factory oval tips price. But, of course, they weren't factory oval tips!

 

Yes...if you haven't gotten the large chrome ovals, then you still have at least one modification left...IMHO
