I am about to purchase a speed yellow 96 993. I have a number of questions that I thought you guys could help me out on. Thanks in advance.

Here goes:

1. Was there a factory option to have the gauge backround and dashboard painted to match the exterior? If so is there a code?

2. Does anyone think it is a problem that this car has been stored inside covered parking (not fully enclosed) at the beach? The car gets detailed often whether it needs it or not.

3. Any thoughts on the quality of Tech Art exhaust, wheels, or aero kits?

No experience with codes or Techart. But my car is under a roof (shade) almost not enclosed, close to the beach. It is been with me like that for 2 years and no I have problems with that. The shade roof keeps the car free of condensation, but it gets covered in fine dust very quickly, especially if there's a breeze.
