You might want to search the archives for more posts (I've linked one recent thread below). As I recall from past posts you'll want someone w/specific 993 experience & it may not be an "in your driveway" job. I believe the top of the dash needs to be removed to connect the antenna.

I had my dealer do it. He had a glass guy come to his shop and perform the work. I decided to use my dealer because I knew they would stand behind the work if there was any problems (which there weren't any). But I felt better covered that way. I knew it would be done to Porsche standards. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
Search the archives for this. We have talked about it a lot in the past. I have changed it twice, others also. We all reported our experience here.
I know Ray and Dan disagree with me, but I replaced the antenna wire on my 95 from the trunk area with someone with small arms - no dash removal required. Its all in the archives.
