Long hood. Any year, any model. I have a 71 911T that runs a 3.0 liter and a 5 speed. It feels entirely different to drive than the 993.

If limited to Porsche models I would choose early 911 SC.
If you're looking to diversify your stable I would look at something outside of the Porsche logo. I have quite a mix of cars from 300hp track prepped Miata, Ford Lighting pickup, 500hp 993 turbo conversion, 575hp RS6 and Mazda 6. They all serve different needs.
With your SUV and sport cars needs covered I would keep an open mind to something else.

I elected a clownshoe and a mullet-mobile to complement my 993 -- Z3 M Coupe and a C5 Z06.

That's funny, I was just thinking how nice they all look. I love silver.

Started with a 996 GT3, just added the 993 C4, think the 2 compliment each other quite well both providing a different pure driving experience. Need to convince the wife that the Macan is a big enough family car and it might just be the best trifecta.

The trans-axle cars are fast, comfortable, and reliable. My choice 928s4, 968, 944 turboS, 944 S2. I love my 993, but these cars have a whole lot to offer. I have owned several..

If you can spend up to $100k the 997 GT3 is worth a look.
I recently drove a 72 911S and loved it. An "S" is a bit above the target, but any longhood with an SC motor should give you a similar experience.
