Hello, I am new to this forum, I had a post but it got taken down because I wasn't a member, now I bought the 1 year subscription I hope they won't take it down again...

I am looking for a C2S 993 Coupe Manual for my father, as a gift for his 65th birthday in May 2018.

That is his dream car, and it seem to be very hard to find.

I have a 70 to 100k budget CAN (taxes included) for the best value I can get.

I am not the most experienced with Porsche etc, I turned 30 in July and got my first Porsche, a 2004 Turbo. I am here for tips and help in finding that car for my father.

Do you think a 993 C2S is a nice 993 to have?

In a word..."Yes!" Get the lowest mileage, best condition, properly maintained one you can find...and afford. The more you look at, the more you learn. Be sure to get a pre-purchase inspection from a trusted, knowledgeable shop before you purchase.

This is a great small book to pick up to learn about the 993. It gets you in the know to some degree and great to take with you while you are looking...
